Tevez, Crouch in, Anichebe Out!

I love Sundays. It gives the likes of the News of the World the chance to fill our hearts with blind optimism about who we are signing in the summer. Whilst most of the talk in recent weeks has linked us to Michael Owen, a direct quote from Carlos Tevez today has suggested he would be interested in a move to Everton. Although the same piece also goes on to say an un-named European club has made an offer of over £40 million!

“Any club I join, whether it be Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool or Everton, will be a rival of Manchester United. I would like to thank the United fans for their support. They will always have a special place in my heart.

“Carlos’ final destination will be made solely on what’s best for Carlos and his family.”

For Tevez, the realisation that he has to walk out on United is painful. He concluded sadly: “I’ve given everything for United. I can leave with my head held high.”

In other news, Victor Anichebe could be sold for around £3m in the summer after a further falling out with David Moyes once again, it is suggested that the money will then be spent on another striker Peter Crouch from Portsmouth.

We’ll see…

Tevez I could go for. But Crouch! Moyes has more sense than that!
