Followtonians – Supporters Go Transatlantic

The latest Interactive Everton Supporters Website comes in the shape of “Followtonians” a podcast service with a twist. Presenters of the service, Peter “Ped” McPartland and Eric “the-nickname” Howell have joined forces via the internet to breach the Atlantic crossing and bring the global Evertonian family closer together.

Ped, who resides in Old Swan Liverpool sounds off with some typically unforgiving scouse views on the World Cup, The England Team and generally everything non-evertonian, while Eric hosts a “kansas” low down on the individual performances of the Everton Lads at the World Cup.

There’s also some reporting from down under with Australian based Toffee, James Coyne, also known by his twitter name coynejp. James delivers, in his own words “The Convicts View” to give the Toffees a heads up on what they’re likely to expect on their imminent tour of Oz. There’s also an insight regarding how the new “pink kit” has been received down under. Look out for some reports by JP on the Official Everton Website as he links up with the team on tour next month.

It’s a great service that the lads at Followtonian are providing and it’s rounded off each week perfectly with ‘Ped’s Rant’ which shouldn’t be missed and is likely to spark match day discussions. If that’s not enough, bringing the podcast to an end is a certain piece of music that will puff your chest out and tickle the hairs on the back of your neck – what more could these chaps do to please us?
