Everton & England’s Back 4?

It seems that Leighton Baines, Phil Jagielka and Jo Lescott have made it to the final 24 man England Squad for this weeks round of international friendlies, which leads to me to ask, if Capello picks players based on current form whether Tony Hibbert would have made it in also? And also whether this has ever happened before?

Before Hibberts unfortunate injury our back 4 looked almost impenitrible, now with various players filling in there with limited success the whole area looks quite unstable again. With crosses coming in that normally wouldn’t the back 4 and Howard are being put under additional pressure.

Here’s wishing Hibbert back to a speedy recovery, to get our English defence back.
