Arsenal Concede Defeat – Jags Stays!

Reports are suggesting that Arsenal have withdrawn their bids and lost interest in stealing Jags.

Yes, stealing Jags! The Arsenal forums have already started to post their opinions on “Evertons vastly over priced valuation”. Is this not the pot calling the kettle? Alanis Morissette could get another verse out of this one.

I don’t for one minute dispute that £20m is a lot of money. I also feel that the transfer fees of Lescott and Johnson last year should simply be disregarded as studpid and not be set as a bench mark for the ‘English Defender’.

But you can’t protect your own squad by hiding behind outrageous valuations (Fabregas) and then call another club for deploying the exact same tactic.

The great news for Evertonians is that we don’t have to wait for the dreaded club announcement with reagrds Jags, phew!

Fabre Gas? I can certainly smell some kinda of gas, not sure it is fabreze though.
